Review: OST Original Pure C20 Serum

After long contemplation, I finally gave in and got my hands on Ost Original's Pure C20 serum which is a 'highly concentrated' vitamin c serum. Vitamin C has been known for its beauty benefits; targeting multitudes of skin issues and to no surprise, this product has been highly raved about.

As you may have noticed in probably all my post, I've mentioned how I experienced an extremely horrible breakout during my trip to Singapore. Whilst, I don't really get breaks out anymore other than the occasional hormonal pimple, my acne scarring/ hyper pigmentation from that trip has not recovered; even after 7 months.

I have resorted to varying products to no avail; however, I was recommended this product. I have heard about this serum for a while, but only till recently, did I get any motivation to buy it.

I've been using it for a bit over a month now and I am quite satisfied.

My Food Adventure: Devon Cafe

Located just off the outskirts between Central and Surry Hills, Devon Cafe has caught the attention of food bloggers alike. A favourite place among many food bloggers that offers food beyond the conventional brunch menu.

Harnessing flavours from Korea, Japan, Europe etc; they exploit these traditional flavours via unconventional means to create a dish that has an abundance of 'awesomeness'.

Here was my experience.

My skincare wishlist

My growing interest in skincare has witnessed majority of my money being spent on buying new products. A significant portion of my interest has stemmed from the enviously beautiful/flawless skin of Koreans and their insanely tedious skin care routine. Thus, to one day achieve such beautiful skin, I aspire to try out all the best of the best products!

With many Koreans using more than 5+ products every night, you can just imagine how densely populated korean/asian skincare products there are. Competition is tough in Korea and in Asia in general and thus, there are constantly new releases as well as many different 'versions' of the same product, whilst in Western countries, it is safe to say, skincare products are rather standstill with very few new releases every month. Thus, all of the items compiled on this list are from asian brands.

With that said, my yearn to try out new products has taken a toll and I haven't been able to keep up with the new trends. This has resulted in an seemingly unending 'want/wishlist' of Korean/Asian beauty care products.

Review + Unboxing: w2Beauty Skincare Beauty Box! #1

With the hype surrounding Korean beauty boxes lately, it comes to no surprise w2beauty a.k.a Alice has responded to the request of her customers and too, has released her own version. While I was a fan of the Memebox, I was really excited to see what w2beauty had in stall.

Review: Etude' s House Play Theory Moist Sleeping Mask

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of post lately, university has started again which has significantly drained my time. But the main reason why I haven't been posting is because my SD card with ALL my edited/unedited photos cracked into two when I dropped my laptop.

I've been so upset and depressed over it since I had my holiday photos on the card as well. I never learn my lesson to back up my stuff. But let's be real here, who ALWAYS backs up their stuff...? Okay, yeah maybe I should start doing it....

Anywho, I ran out of my HG Laniege's EX sleeping mask (review can be found here) so I decided to pick up something new - that something 'new' was the Etude House's Moist Sleeping Mask.

My Food Adventure: Brewtown Newtown

Newtown Brewtown! The place the ever-so-popular cronut calls home and a must try if you go to Newtown.

Reaching the area was a huge trek. From driving all the way to Newtown then having to find a place to park was beyond treacherous. After fighting what felt like a million adversities, to then be hit with the possibility of the kitchen closing before we even got a spot to sit in the store, killed a part of me.

Crazy? I know. I was speechless to hear the possibility of heading home without the chance of eating anything. Praying that luck was on our side and annoying the waitress by making her update us on where we were on the waitlist, we were luckily seated 10 minutes before the kitchen closed.

The anxious spell that warped around me dissipated, but the overwhelming burden of choosing what dish we wanted within 5 minutes was the next challenge.

Review: Innisfree Green Tea Seed Oil

You know, I have this one sided affair with Innisfree. When I lay out similar products, I always choose Innisfree over other brands. While I don't do it purposely, I always somehow manage carting a variety of products from the Innisfree line.

Perhaps it is because it's products are environmentally friendly/sustainable, employs natural ingredients and majority, if not all, are free from skin irritants such as parabens etc;.

To no surprise while doing my routinely beauty hauling, I picked up Innisfree's Green Tea Seed Oil.

Review + Swatch: Essie 'Raspberry' Nail Polish

While everyone else around the world are soaking in the sun, I am buried in sorrow with Australia's winter. Some may enjoy the cold season but for me, winter really sucks. I get awfully dry and sensitive skin and the lack of insulation on my body discourages me from doing anything other than staying in my bed.

But one positive that sprouts from winter is the opportunity to wear your favourite layers and for berry tones to come out.

As we all know, wine and berry tones are universal colours when it comes to the colder seasons. I, for one adore berry tones. My go to choice of colour are berry/wine/maroon tones for everything - including, my clothes and makeup. Likewise for that very reason, I am indifferent when it comes to nail polishes.

My Food Adventure: Stix Desserts

Taken from their facebook page - how it looks when it is fully stocked!

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!!

Located on the famous Crown st, renowned as the street with the best food (at least in my opinion), Stix Desserts puts a new twist to the already saturated ice cream world. The concept of "personalising your own ice cream" comes into play here. Your choice of gelato or sorbet comes in popsicle form and you are given the option of decorating it with different chocolate coatings and toppings.

Review + Swatch: Etude House Magic Any Cushion - Peach, Pink and Mint

The product I've been eagerly wanting to try is Etude House's Magic Any Cushion which they released sometime back in March I believe. It has been said to do wonders to the skin and is the cushion variant of the ever so popular 'Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base'. Whilst I haven't tried the Sweet Recipe base, I have heard relatively positive reviews regarding it.
